Easter "Cruise" 2006

Akuna_bay_sailing The Easter "cruise" to Akuna Bay proved a relaxing and very enjoyable break for the 22 boats that participated over the three days. The weather was generally kind and the facilities at the Akuna Bay marina ensured our cruisers were both well fed and well read.  Highpoints of the weekend were Sundowners on a raft of four boats which included the Ellis' brand new Elan (Sirocco), the walk between Waratah and Appletree Bays, sometimes successfully defending our food from attack (by kookaburras) whilst using the BBQs at end of the marina, and the usual socialising that inevitably occurs when a few cruising boats gather together -Eoin.
